Who controls your data
Noxera Research Labs is a trading name of a sole trader based in the United States, who is the data controller for information collected through this site. Contact is by email at noxera.research.labs@gmail.com, and a postal address is available on written request.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact name and email address.
- Organisation or laboratory name.
- Destination city and state.
- The research context and any notes you write in an inquiry.
- The products and quantities on your list.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — retained for security and abuse prevention.
- Aggregate, non-identifying traffic statistics.
Stored in your browser, not by us
Your inquiry list is held in your own browser’s local storage under the key noxera.inquiry.cart.v1. It never leaves your device until you submit an inquiry. Clearing your browser data clears the list, and we have no copy of it before submission.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect card or bank details. No payment is processed on this website.
- We do not collect health information, and we ask you not to send us any.
- We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
- We do not buy contact data from brokers.
Why we process it
- To answer your inquiry — availability, documentation and shipping quotes.
- To fulfil orders — addresses go to the carrier so material can be delivered.
- To meet our obligations — records of who we supplied and the stated research context, which we are required to keep.
- To protect the site — logs used to detect and block abuse.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with shipping carriers to deliver your order, and with our hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We disclose data to authorities only where legally compelled.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that do not become orders — 12 months.
- Fulfilled order records, including the stated research context — 5 years, as required for supply records.
- Server logs — 90 days.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email noxera.research.labs@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Note that we cannot delete records we are required to retain for supply-compliance purposes until the retention period above has elapsed.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to inquiry records is limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users without undue delay if a breach materially affects them.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 21 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date shown alongside this page. Continuing to use the site after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
